My sweet haze
My Sweet Haze
I was sittin at home thinkin on past days and I can’t believe the haze,
Well, I say I’ve been walkin the streets of my mind and every now and then I turn a corner and find a memory I forgot, and I try to hang on but then here comes the haze.
I’ve been fightin in my sleep and I’ve been sleepin in my talkin then somebody calls my name and I spin off into yesterday and here comes the haze,
Well, I say I’ve been walkin the streets of my mind and every now and then I turn a corner and find a memory I forgot, and I try to hang on but then here comes the haze.
My alarm goes off I jump to my feet and take a swing at a face that used to be there, no I aint all here, sometimes there, sometimes gone for days just living in a haze
Then somebody calls my name and I know I can’t lie to myself I got used to livin in this haze because what else do I do with the repercussions of a well-lived life and my sweet haze is the price I have to pay for makin every day mine,
