A firefight

I was a nuclear wasteland kid smokin on the fumes of

forever dead, happiness aint no guarantee but I won’t live in misery,

Free in a firefight, I’m a nuclear wasteland living dead.

I got a disease they call Rock -n- Roll and there aint no cure, I got the shakes.

Southern pride, ride till I die, Southern pride, born and raised can’t change my roots, blue jeans and cowgirl boots now 56 and still stomp a mud hole in ya, Southern pride.

All the shit gone down under that Rebel flag made me think and I’ve kept my mouth shut now I’m preachin the gospel of Southern Pride and I don’t need no damn flag, Southern pride, ride till I die.
